I just finished crocheting a blanket for my mom. Blankets take me about a month, so I’m happy to be done and ready for my next project.
I made this with a pattern I found in a short Bernat booklet that I picked up at Michael’s.
I love the yarn which is Caron Simply Soft, in Ocean. I don’t think the pictures do the color justice, it’s a rich teal. Fabulous. My mom is a very lucky woman. Now if only the weather would be chilly enough to need a blanket…
My question is: what to make next?
Let the Hunger Games begin. I know that the movie is not out until March 23rd, but this gives you plenty of time to read the entire trilogy. These books are an amazing adventure of a courageous young girl who joins in the hunger games to protect her family. The entire trilogy is filled with many twists and turns that will keep you reading with anticipation. There are surprises around every corner that make this trilogy one that you will never forget. I am not going to go into detail because I don’t want to ruin the book. Trust me and pick up a copy to read today!
