In honor of the Tony’s this weekend, I thought I would post a little throwback video. If this doesn’t make you happy, you might be dead.
My favorite thing is the expression on the faces of the innocent bystanders sitting right next to the cast members singing their hearts out. It’s a combination of bewilderment and happiness. They also did a similar performance on a subway train in New York.
And also, if you haven’t seen the James Corden Carpool Karaoke with Broadway stars– that is your homework assignment.
Let’s go Hamilton!
This is a PSA to remind you that there’s a live production of Grease on Fox at 7pm EST tonight! I’m excited to see it!
I think this has the potential to be a good one! If you ask me, as opposed to some of the other TV musical productions, I think Grease was made for this venue. We’ll find out tonight!
I posted a little while ago about the fantastic new Broadway show Hamilton. The show’s soundtrack was finally released in late September and I’ve been listening to it non-stop ever since. I recommend the entire soundtrack but here are my favorites:
Guns and Ships – About Lafayette supporting the Revolutionary War effort.
Satisfied– Angelica Schuyler explaining that she was the first Schuyler sister to fall in love with Hamilton but she graciously stepped aside because her sister called dibs.
Non-Stop– About Hamilton starting his political career after the war.
You’ll be Back– King George’s hilarious perspective on the revolution.
Wait For It– Aaron Burr’s theme song that explains his point of view.
You need to see the show and download the soundtrack immediately!
