It’s the most wonderful time of the year! I don’t think there’s anything I like window shopping for more than coats. As always, I love wool coat with an a-symetrical closure. This year I love the trend of wrap coats with belts or a hidden closure and oversized blazers with popped collar. Here are a few that I’m fawning over this year.
This Michael Kors number is a steal at $178. It’s a great late fall/ early winter coat for the work week. It’s probably not practical for the dead of winter since it’s kind of open. I don’t have a camel coat, and this one is very tempting. I also love this similar option from Banana.
Another great neutral. This one from Kenneth Cole has a cool a-symettrical hidden closure. Also very reasonable at $228. I like that it has more of a blush undertone, and the boucle texture adds some interest.
Here’s a slightly pricier option from DVF. The wrap coat is so hot right now. A wrap coat just seems cozy to me. It’s professional enough for work, but it’s also a great weekend option when you’re trying to look casual but put together. Michael Kors has a similar, more affordable option as well.
I looooove this coat. At $495 from Trina Turk, I’m waiting for it to go on sale, but it has pretty much everything I look for in a coat. And I need a grey coat!
I love this basic black moto from Banana. I have a similar one from Gap that’s a few years old. I think it might be time for a refresh/upgrade. This style is perfect for early fall and the spring before it gets too chilly.
And finally, the perfect jacket from Athleta for the to and from the gym trips in the fall. This is perfect for running quick weekend errands in the early-mid fall. Grey, a-symmetrical zipper, and basically sweatshirt material? I’m in.
Has anything caught your eye this year?
