Songs I downloaded from iTunes. This should be the hashtag no judgement edition. Proof that I’m being honest about my downloads.

  1. Summer Thing by Afrojack feat. Mike Taylor. Definitely a fun song for the workout mix! It’s an EDM summer song, what else do you need?
  2. Dirty Work by Austin Mahone. He’s just too darn cute. This is very reminiscent of early Bieber, but I don’t hate it.
  3. Hide Away by Daya. This song is funny to me because it has a dainty vibe with some edgier lyrics. It’s pretty fitting in my life right now too.
  4. Smoke Break by Carrie Underwood. I don’t think Carrie Underwood can really do any wrong. This is a classic Carrie power ballad, and it is very relatable.
  5. Drag Me Down by One Direction. We all know that I’m team Boy Band for life! This is not their best, but I just cannot resist. I have to soak it up before the hiatus starts!austin-mahone-dirty-work-cover

songs I downloaded from iTunes.

I really needed some new music to listen to so I went on a little bit of a shopping spree with these five songs. I don’t have much of story behind any of these, so no explanations this time. I just listened to the sample on iTunes and decided to get it. I’m not disappointed with any of my choices!

1. Somebody by Natalie La Rose (feat. Jeremih)

2. She Knows by Ne-Yo (feat. Juicy J)

3. Geronimo by Sheppard

4. Talking Body by Tove Lo

5. Wrapped Up by Olly Murs (feat. Travis McCoy)

Songs I downloaded on iTunes.

1. “Daft Punk” by Pentatonix. This was a Pandora find. It has come up a few times in the last few months and I finally decided I needed it all the time. It’s a mash up of several Daft Punk songs in a cappella form. I’m not even that much of a Daft Punk fan, but now I’m rethinking my ways.

2. “Work It” by Missy Elliot. This is pretty obvious. I saw the Superbowl half time show and had a major nostalgic moment.

3. “Proud Mary” by Tina Turner. Similar to the Missy moment I had, I recently realized I did not have this song in my library and felt the need to immediately remedy the situation. My life is much improved.

4. “Take Your Time” by Sam Hunt. This song caught my eye on the iTunes list of Top 50 songs which I monitor regularly. It’s a great low key country song that is a twist on the typical love song. I could do without the speaking parts, but other than that, I’m kind of obsessed.

5. “Truffle Butter” by Nicki Minaj featuring Drake and Lil Wayne. Nicki Minaj has been a little cooky ever since Iggy Azalea has stolen some of her female rapper spotlight (Isn’t that how Lil Kim reacted with Minaj came on the scene? It’s like deja vu all over again…). But I like this song, and it’s clear with the supporting characters, that she’s back to doing what she does best with her original crew.
