Songs I downloaded on iTunes.

  1. Downtown by Macklemore and Ryan Lewis feat. Eric Nally, Melle Mel, Kool Moe Dee, and Grandmaster Caz. You’re going to need to listen to this a good five times to appreciate it correctly. There are a lot of sections, and a lot of contributors, but the results are pretty fantastic. And watch the video too, it’s hilarious! I heart Macklemore.
  2. What do you Mean? by Justin Bieber. I kind of like Bieber’s new aesthetic. This is the second song I couldn’t live without!
  3. The Hills by The Weeknd. The music in this song sounds like the score of a horror film, and the lyrics are pretty perverted. I’m not sure how, but I’m kind of obsessed with it. It’s definitely walking the line very well.
  4. Bad Blood by Taylor Swift. I finally caved on this one. T Swift is the current Queen of Pop and I’m not going to fight it. It’s on the workout mix for sure. You need to watch the video if you haven’t seen it yet.
  5. Baby I by Ariana Grande. I’ve been having kind of an Ariana Grande moment lately. This song sounds eerily like an old school Ashanti song, but it’s also very 90’s Mariah, which is ok with me.

Songs I downloaded from iTunes. This should be the hashtag no judgement edition. Proof that I’m being honest about my downloads.

  1. Summer Thing by Afrojack feat. Mike Taylor. Definitely a fun song for the workout mix! It’s an EDM summer song, what else do you need?
  2. Dirty Work by Austin Mahone. He’s just too darn cute. This is very reminiscent of early Bieber, but I don’t hate it.
  3. Hide Away by Daya. This song is funny to me because it has a dainty vibe with some edgier lyrics. It’s pretty fitting in my life right now too.
  4. Smoke Break by Carrie Underwood. I don’t think Carrie Underwood can really do any wrong. This is a classic Carrie power ballad, and it is very relatable.
  5. Drag Me Down by One Direction. We all know that I’m team Boy Band for life! This is not their best, but I just cannot resist. I have to soak it up before the hiatus starts!austin-mahone-dirty-work-cover

What are your hashtag no judgement music obsessions right now?

songs I downloaded from iTunes. (it’s been a while, let’s get back on the wagon!)

1. Should’ve Been Us by Tori Kelly. At first I thought Tori Kelly was just a younger version of Natasha Bettingfield because she sounds like her in her first single “Nobody Love.” But now I’m thinking that was because of the melody of the song. “Should’ve Been Us” never gets old for me, I’ve been playing it very consistently for weeks and I still love it.

2. House Party by Sam Hunt. At first this song annoyed me a little, but then I gave in. I think it’s actually really funny and I love the chorus. It’s a great country summer song!

3. Back It Up by Prince Royce feat. Pitbull and J.Lo. Come on, how do you say know to Prince Royce, Pitbull, and J.Lo. The song is very catchy, and the video is super cute. It’s a great pop summer song.

4. Tonight Belongs to You by Jeremih feat. FloRida. This song kept coming up on my Pandora and I kept liking it a little more every time I heard it. It’s on my workout mix, and I think it’s just a nice middle ground between EDM, R&B, and rap.

5. Marvin Gaye by Charlie Puth feat. Meghan Trainor. At first I really didn’t like the stupid lyrics in this song, but I got over that because Charlie Puth is just too cute. The video is actually pretty funny.
